Apprenticeship and Manufacturing Ready
The Apprenticeship and Manufacturing Ready (AMR) program is a partnership between Roseville Adult Learning Center (RALC) and KOM. AMR is a FREE career training for those who are interested in getting a job in construction, welding, and manufacturing. In the program, participants will be introduced to these jobs through both classroom and hands-on learning.

Urban Boatbuilders Apprenticeship
The Urban Boatbuilders apprenticeship program is a job training opportunity where youth learn how to build boats, paddles and other woodworking projects with instructors and a team of peers. In addition to project-based learning, apprentices participate in offsite career exploration field trips, and workshops on resume writing, personal finance, interviewing, and goal setting.

CDL TRAINING PROGRAM
The CDL Training Program puts people on the road to success by helping them to earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). After successfully completing training, participants are qualified for good-paying jobs in construction, highway maintenance, transit and other in-demand industries.
Classes meet Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at YWCA St. Paul, with license instruction and experiential training at a local trucking school. New sessions begin monthly on a rolling basis, and there is no cost to participants.
