We seek a Senior Designer with experience in Land Development and/or Municipal work to join us in our Minneapolis office.
What You Will Do:
A Senior Designer plays a vital role in delivering projects on time and within budget. Working in a team environment, you will develop 3D corridor, grading and design models, pipe networks and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Siteops. You will design roadways, utility networks, parking lots, commercial & residential subdivisions, erosion control, plats, development plans, demolition plans, and similar elements of land development and municipal projects. Your designs and construction plans will adhere to WSB’s CAD standards. You will consistently contribute to WSB’s improvement in technical expertise by learning and sharing your experience with others. Your experience level will determine the amount of independent judgment granted, complexity of tasks performed and direct supervision received.
What You Will Bring:
The successful candidate must have ten years of relevant work experience; a two-year degree in civil engineering technology or related field from a Technical / Community College is preferred. You must have excellent communication skills, high level of attention to details, the ability to learn new software, the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tight deadlines and the desire to continually develop your design skills. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is also required.
