CPMI has an opening for a FT Construction Project Manager to work in Minnesota.
CPMI is a small firm averaging 25 full time employees with offices in West Des Moines, IA and Eagan, MN, has been in business for over 47 years and is owned by the Officers of the company. Our size and Ownership structure affords employee’s access and participation at all levels of the company.
CPMI provides CM, Owner Rep and General Contracting services to the public and private sectors. The size of the projects have varied from $1M to $306M and are very diverse including multi-family housing, higher education facilities, K-12 schools, data centers, government facilities, museums, historic sites, zoos, hospitals and more. We have an outstanding reputation with our clients and in the industry.
Our project managers work on projects from design through construction closeout, using skills in scheduling, estimating, communications and management. You will work directly with our clients during design and manage the entire construction process as a CM. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with clients, Architects, managers, peers, superintendents and others. This position requires time on-site.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field, minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Construction Management, good communication skills, working knowledge of scheduling programs, Bluebeam, Excel and Word and be able to read and interpret construction documents.
